Returning to the Highlander Hotel in Newtonmore for our popular pre-Christmas break. Our hotel package includes mince pies and mulled wine on arrival, Christmas and Hogmanay Dinners and excellent Scottish evening entertainment.

The *** HIGHLANDER HOTEL is situated in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, and you can be sure of a true Scottish welcome. There is a restaurant and well stocked bar. All bedrooms are en suite with showers only (no bath), TV, tea making facilities, hairdryer, and Wi-Fi. There is no lift, but most bedrooms are on the ground and first floor.

Monday

Depart for Newtonmore
We journey to Newtonmore, within the Cairngorm National Park, for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Highlander Hotel.
Tuesday
Date : December 2, 2025
Spey Valley & Tomintoul
We drive via the scenic Spey Valley, Lecht Ski Centre and Tomintoul. This evening, we enjoy a Christmas Eve dinner, followed by a quiz and bingo.
Wednesday
Date : December 3, 2025
Inverness & Culloden Visitor Centre
We travel to Inverness for some free time, later continuing onto Culloden Visitor Centre (entry to the museum not included). We return to the hotel in time to prepare for this evenings Christmas Dinner followed by a visit from Santa and festive entertainment.
Thursday
Date : December 4, 2025
Grantown-on-Spey & Brodie Countryfare
We visit Grantown-on-Spey, Brodie Countryfare, one of the most pleasant shopping experiences in the North of Scotland, and travel along parts of the Old Military Road. Later we enjoy a Hogmanay Dinner before festive entertainment.
