The *** BEAUFORT PARK HOTEL is a modern hotel set in lovely gardens a short drive from the Welsh market town of Mold. The Arches Bar has a relaxing atmosphere, and the Orchard Restaurant serves tasty meals using many locally sourced ingredients. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities, hairdryer, trouser press, and Wi-Fi. There is no lift, but rooms are on the ground or first floors.

We travel to Southport en route to Mold for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Beaufort Park Hotel.

Betws-y-Coed & Llandudno

We take a scenic drive via Ruthin and Corwen to Betws-y-Coed, gateway to the Snowdonia National Park and a bustling village full of independent shops and cafes. Later we continue to the Victorian splendour of Llandudno, with its traditional pier and promenade

Tuesday

Oswestry & Llangollen

Today we head south to the British Ironworks Centre at Oswestry. Follow the sculpture trail with its impressive mix of metal artworks, take in one of the free artisan demonstrations or browse the quirky gifts and ironmongery. Later we call at Llangollen.

Wednesday

Chester & Port Sunlight

This morning we travel to historical Chester, with its medieval Rows, impressive city walls and Roman museum. Later we head to Port Sunlight where a guide will join us on the coach to bring the history of the village to life. We also include entry to the Museum, which features a new recreation of an Edwardian workers cottage, and you can explore the Lady Lever Art Gallery (free entry).

Depart for Liverpool & Home

Travelling home via Liverpool, we spend time in this vibrant city with its many attractions. We arrive back into the local area late afternoon.
