We are pleased to visit the Great Tapestry of Scotland, Galashiels. One hundred and sixty panels bring to life the history and culture of this vibrant nation. We also visit the Cambo Estate, the home of Cambo Snowdrops located near St Andrews. The 70 acres of woodland making up a vast part of the estate is carpeted in snowdrops and aconites in early March. There are over 300 dazzling displays of specialist snowdrops plus a natural woodland. We also enjoy time at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh.

Depart for Galashiels & Dunfermline

We travel north with suitable stops before arriving in Galashiels. Following time for lunch, we visit the Great Tapestry of Scotland, displayed in a magnificent purpose-built contemporary gallery and visitor’s centre. Later in the day we continue to Dunfermline and the Best Western Pitbauchlie House Hotel for 2 nights half board accommodation.

Cambo Estate & St Andrews

This morning we travel to the Cambo Estate where we have arranged a guide to show you the wonderful collection of snowdrops and aconites that carpet the estate. There will be some time to visit the gift shop and tearoom before we head along the coast to St Andrews, famed for its golf course and university.

Depart for Edinburgh & Home

We travel into Edinburgh and visit the Royal Botanic Garden, with its winter display of rare snowdrops. We depart early afternoon arriving home early evening.
