We journey to Worcester before continuing to Cwmbran for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Parkway Hotel.

Coal Mining Museum, Brecon Beacons & Abergavenny
We begin with a visit to The Big Pit National Coal Mining Museum, an award-winning museum that still retains many features of its former life as a coal mine. Enjoy a multi-media tour with a virtual miner in the Mining Galleries, exhibitions in the Pithead Baths and historic colliery buildings. Later we drive through the Brecon Beacons to Abergavenny.

Tintern Abbey & Monmouth
We visit the magnificent Tintern Abbey, one of the masterpieces of British Gothic architecture. Later we continue through the breath-taking Wye Valley to Monmouth, returning via Usk.

St Fagans Museum & Free Time in Cardiff
The Welsh capital Cardiff is our destination today and we begin with a visit to St Fagans National Museum of History. Explore the stories of the people of Wales and take a walk through history, all set in the grounds of St Fagans Castle and gardens. The remainder of the day is free to explore Cardiff itself with it impressive Gothic castle, superb shopping and wide selection of eateries.

Ludlow & Return Home
We depart for Ludlow, before travelling home, arriving back into the local area early evening.
