A new tour to the Southern Coast of Ireland, discovering the renowned Wild Atlantic Way and the towns and villages of this truly stunning part of Ireland. The *** CELTIC ROSS HOTEL is a family-owned hotel overlooking Rosscarbery Bay, West Cork, on Irelands Wild Atlantic Way. There is a fitness centre with indoor pool, sauna, spa and gym.  All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities, hairdryer, toiletries, and Wi-Fi.  There is a lift.

Travel to Portlaoise

We journey to Holyhead to board the early afternoon Irish Ferries to Dublin. We disembark and travel to Portlaoise for overnight half board accommodation at the Midlands Park Hotel.

We travel via Mallow & Blarney and onwards to the south coast of Ireland to Rosscarbery Bay for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Celtic Ross Hotel.

Bantry Bay & Mizen Head

Today we visit one of the most picturesque parts of Ireland as we discover Bantry Bay, located along the renowned Wild Atlantic Way. We continue to Mizen Head, one of the extreme points of the island of Ireland and a major tourist attraction, noted for its dramatic cliff scenery.

Cobh & the Jameson Experience Tour

We begin the day with a visit to Cobh, a town in Ireland, on an island in Cork city’s harbour. It is known as the Titanic’s last port of call in 1912. Our journey continues via the coastal town of Passage West and onwards to Midleton where we include the Jameson Experience Tour. This is a fully guided tour around the original Midleton Distillery which brings the stories of Jameson’s rich heritage to life. You will learn about the hard-working people and field-to-glass processes responsible for the whiskey that bears John Jameson's name.

Kinsale & Clonakilty including a farm visit

A morning visit to Kinsale referred to as the gourmet capital of Ireland, famous for its scenic harbour and yachting marina, narrow streets with quaint colourful shops. We continue via The Old Head of Kinsale a narrow headland that stretches about 4.5 km into the Celtic Sea. It is flanked by steep cliffs and a magnificent lighthouse. In the afternoon we visit the town of Clonakilty and include an interesting farm visit.

Travel to County Louth

We depart West Cork and travel via Cork, Cashel, and Dublin, continuing to County Louth for overnight half board accommodation at the Carrickdale Hotel.

Return home

Morning transfer to Belfast for the late morning sailing to Loch Ryan. We disembark early afternoon and travel south via the main roads and motorways, arriving into our local area early evening.
