Travel to Letterkenny

We travel via Loch Ryan to board the afternoon ferry to Belfast, then to Letterkenny for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Clanree Hotel.

Inshowen Peninsula & Letterkenny

We travel into the Inshowen Peninsula. Glorious scenery as we appreciate ocean views and ancient monuments on our way to Malin Head, the most northerly point in the ‘Emerald Isle’. We take lunch here then we go onto the town of Letterkenny for free time.

Bushmills Distillery & Giant's Causeway

We visit Bushmills Distillery, one of Ireland’s most historic and interesting distilleries. Watch whiskey making and enjoy a wee taster too. Later, we visit Giant’s Causeway, we can walk or take a minibus down the steep slopes to the amazing volcanic feature.

We travel via Dunfanaghy and the Bloody Foreland (known locally as the Hill of Blood). We include a light lunch (and traditional Irish Music) in Leo’s Tavern, set in the attractive village of Meenaleck.

Return home

Morning transfer to Belfast for the late morning sailing to Loch Ryan. We disembark early afternoon and travel south via the main roads and motorways, arriving into our local area early evening.
