The backdrop of the quaint Suffolk villages have been famously brought to life by the Gainsborough and Constable landscapes and they provide the blend of heritage and scenery for this tour with the rolling countryside, babbling brooks and picturesque villages. On our Constable Country day we have the services of a local guide who will bring this region to life. We also include a visit to Beth Chatto’s Gardens, a day on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, visiting Aldeburgh and Southwold, and historic Sutton Hoo. All this combines to give a holiday of particular charm and nostalgia for you to enjoy.

Beth Chatto’s Gardens, Woodbridge & Sutton Hoo
We visit Beth Chatto’s Gardens, an informal collection of historically significant gardens, with National Heritage Grade II listing. In the afternoon we visit the town of Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo, the site of two Anglo-Saxon burial sites whose discovery is dramatised in the film ‘The Dig’.Thursday
