The ** CLARENCE HOUSE HOTEL is family run and superbly situated in the centre of the Esplanade. There is a restaurant, lounge, and a bar with sea views. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, tea making facilities and Wi-Fi. As befits this type of 2-star coastal hotel all rooms are different shapes and sizes. The hotel has a reputation with Bibby’s clients for good food and service. There is a lift although some rooms have a few steps to them.

St David’s then Dyfed Shire Horse Centre
Today we are joined by a local guide, who will bring the area to life and include a folk tale or two. We visit St David’s, Britain’s smallest city, home to the famous cathedral. In the afternoon we visit Dyfed Shire Horse Centre, where we learn about the history and meet these incredible animals. This is the birthplace of two of the Household Cavalry drum horses, Juno, and Apollo.Wednesday

Pembroke Castle then 'The Lovespoon Workshop’
We visit Pembroke Castle set in a magnificent location and surrounded by a millpond on three sides. Explore the medieval castle, birthplace of the first Tudor King, and enjoy free time to explore the walled town of Pembroke too. Later we make our way to ‘The Lovespoon Workshop’ where we enjoy a talk and demonstration on the 17th century tradition continuing in Wales today (free entry).Thursday

Free day
A free day in our resort, explore the 13th-century town walls and the sandy shoreline, including Castle Beach, Tenby Castle and exhibits at the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery are worth a visit. The Tudor Merchant’s House recreates domestic life in 1500, with a merchant's shop and working kitchen. Lots to see and do.Friday
