Depart for Hexham then onto Newcastle

We travel to Houghton Hall Garden Centre then to Hexham with free time to visit the Abbey on a self-guide tour. Later, we continue to the outskirts of Newcastle for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Holiday Inn Gosforth Park Hotel.

Alnwick & Alnmouth

Today we visit Alnwick and Alnmouth, returning to the hotel via Warkworth and Amble, highlighting some of the beauty of the Northumbrian coastline.

The Holy Island of Lindisfarne

We journey to The Holy Island of Lindisfarne, with time to explore the ancient castle and priory, or stroll around the attractive harbour. (Subject to tide timings)

We travel via the coast to Bamburgh with its famous castle and beach, returning via Seahouses & return via Craster.

Return home via Durham

We visit the City of Durham. We travel home, arriving into the local area late afternoon.
