A new Dutch tour for 2027, based at the Carlton Ambassador Hotel in The Hague. From here, we visit the unforgettable Keukenhof Gardens, one of the world’s most celebrated flower gardens, famed for its spectacular spring displays of millions of blooming tulips set among carefully designed landscapes and historic parkland. Other excursions include the city of Amsterdam, the vibrant capital of the Netherlands, renowned for its historic canals and world‑class museums; visits to Edam and Volendam; the chance to experience traditional clog and cheese making; and an opportunity to sample the famous Gouda cheese.

Keukenhof Gardens & The Hague
We disembark and transfer to Keukenhof Gardens for an unforgettable springtime experience, where over seven million flowers burst into colour across beautifully landscaped grounds. Famous for its spectacular tulip displays, tranquil walking paths, and inspirational garden designs, Keukenhof is the perfect destination for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone seeking a true taste of Dutch heritage. Later we transfer to The Carlton Ambassador, located in the embassy area of The Hague for 3 nights half board accommodation.

Volendam, Edam & Free Afternoon
We make the short transfer into Volendam, a pretty fishing village with typical authentic little houses. Later we visit the famous cheese town of Edam with its old shipping warehouses, quiet cobblestone streets, hand-operated drawbridges, and picture-perfect canals. We return to our hotel to allow free time to explore your base of the Hague 'the largest village in Europe'.

Amsterdam is our destination today a relaxed, yet enriching city filled with culture, comfort, and charm. Its compact layout, flat streets, and excellent public transport make getting around easy, while gentle canal cruises provide a leisurely way to take in the city’s beautiful architecture. Explore the world‑class museums, cosy cafés, peaceful gardens, and welcoming atmosphere.

Cheese Farm & Ferry Crossing to Hull
This morning we visit a clog and cheese farm, where you can experience the clog and cheese- making traditions, and sample some famous Gouda cheese. Later in the day we make our way towards Rotterdam, where we board the overnight ferry sailing to Hull (Meals not included).

IMPORTANT
Please note the Entry/Exit System (EES) is now active at some border crossings and you may need to scan your fingerprints and have your photo taken at automated gates instead of your passport being stamped.
From April 2027, at the time of going to print, when travelling to the Shengen Area of Europe (countries without border controls), you will need to apply for an ETIAS before travel. This is not a Visa, but an Electronic Travel Authorisation linked to your passport. The form will be online, quick to complete and there may be a small fee to pay. It will be valid for up to 3 years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.
