Join Bibby’s for this special interest tour to the WW1 battlefields.  We have a wealth of experience operating battlefield tours, and our experienced driver will ‘open your eyes’ to all aspects of WW1.  Our tour is based in the now peaceful Belgium town of Ypres, which during the first World War experienced intense bombing and subsequent loss of life.  Step back in time and you will see the preserved trenches and artefacts museums along with the largest British cemetery at Tyne Cot.  Experience the emotive and moving last post ceremony at the Menin Gate, which in tribute to the allied forces is sounded every evening at 8.00 pm to honour their acts of bravery.

During our previous visits to Ypres, we have been very successful in locating graves/memorials of lost relatives.  Many people have been on the tour to see for themselves the last resting place of these soldiers and we invite you to be a part of this moving experience.  We require the soldiers name, regiment, date of death and Bibby’s can trace the cemetery and gravestone.  Hopefully, the cemetery will be close to the area we are visiting, and we will make every effort to visit the site.
