Join us as we visit Thriplow Daffodil Weekend, featuring a whole host of activities including a flower festival, live folk music, morris dancers and an amazing choice of delicious food stalls. Your Holiday Accommodation:

The *** HOLIDAY INN, CAMBRIDGE is set by a lake in rolling countryside just 2 miles outside Cambridge. There is a restaurant and bar, indoor swimming pool with steam room, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. All bedrooms are en suite showers over the bath, no walk-in showers, with TV, telephone, tea making facilities, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, safe and Wi-Fi. There is no lift, but ground floor rooms are available.

Today we travel to Cambridge and enjoy free time to explore this breath-taking city where you can take in the stunning architecture of the university colleges, watch the punting on the river Cam or indulge in some retail therapy. Later we take a short drive to our base for 2 nights half board accommodation at the Holiday Inn.

Thriplow Daffodil Festival

This morning we head to Thriplow and explore this fantastic and well-established village event, taking in the masses of daffodils and open gardens as we go. Expect craft & local produce stalls, maypole dancing, vintage tractor & dray rides, living history re-enactments plus plenty of delicious food and live music, all delivered by a passionate team of local volunteers.
