Enjoy the scenic beauty of Dorset`s coast and countryside. We include a visit to Abbotsbury Swannery & Gardens, enjoy the coastal seascapes at West Bay (Broadchurch) and experience the ‘heady delights’ of the Isle of Portland. We visit Lulworth Cove before a stop in Dorchester. The Hotel Rex in Weymouth has a wonderful seafront location from where you have plenty of free time to explore.

We journey to Lulworth Cove, a UNESCO World Heritage site with unique geology and crystal-clear waters, before visiting Thomas Hardy’s Dorchester. In the afternoon we return to Weymouth for free time.Wednesday

Isle of Portland & free time in Weymouth
We take a morning excursion to the Isle of Portland, a peninsula joined to the mainland by the narrow spit of Chesil Beach. The amazing views of Weymouth and the Dorset coast are as famous as the local 'Portland stone', a much-prized limestone used in civic buildings throughout the UK. We return to Weymouth for further free time.Thursday
