Depart for York
We depart our local area for York and check in for overnight bed and breakfast accommodation at the DoubleTree By Hilton York hotel. You are then free to explore all the attractions in this great city. A walk around the ancient city walls is a must, taking in views of the 15th century historic Minster as you go. Hop on a sightseeing bus to discover some of York’s highlights, take a boat cruise on the beautiful river Ouse or explore its many interesting museums including the National Railway Museum, Jorvik and the Castle Museum.

Free Time & Return Home
After breakfast we will check out and leave our luggage in a safe room at the hotel. The remainder of the day is free to spend more time in the city. We depart from the hotel at 4.00pm, arriving back into our local area early evening.
