Our base for this tour is the Three Ways House, which has established itself as a warm, welcoming, comfortable and quirky Cotswold village hotel and is home to the world famous Pudding Club! Join us for an unforgettable few days with an action-packed itinerary featuring the Pershore Plum Festival, Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park and the beautiful villages and gardens of the Cotswolds region.
The 3 star Three Ways House Hotel is a 19th century Cotswold stone property in the attractive village of Mickleton. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, radio, tea making facilities, hairdryer and Wi-Fi. There are some ground floor rooms. There is a lift.
We travel via the Avoncroft Museum, home to over 30 historic buildings and structures. We continue into the Cotswolds and to the Three Ways House Hotel, for 4 nights half board accommodation.
An interesting day out as we head to the town of Pershore, who will be hosting their annual Plum Festival. Bank Holiday Monday is Fayre Day with lots of activities and events going on in the town.
Today we include entry to the impressive Hidcote Manor Gardens. The gardens are distinctly British with their wild perfusion of colour and scent, boasting a unique and vast range of plants and flowers from all corners of the globe. In the afternoon we enjoy the Cotswolds towns of Chipping Campden and Broadway.
We begin with a visit to the award-winning Cotswold Farm Park established in 1971 by Adam's father Joe Henson. He was founder Chairman of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust and the Farm Park was the first rare breeds farm to open to the public, specialising in conservation and education. Later in the day we have some free time in Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold. For your final evening a traditional Pudding Club style dinner will be served.
We travel north and take a break at the Trentham Estate. Continuing our journey home, we arrive into our local area late afternoon.
