The prefect time of year to head into the Scottish Highlands, as Springtime bursts into life. We explore the region from our base in Newtonmore, the Highlander Hotel, where a warm Scottish welcome is guaranteed.
The 3 star Highlander Hotel is situated in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and you can be sure of a very warm welcome. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, tea making facilities and hairdryer. There is Wi-Fi in the hotel lounge. There is no lift but most bedrooms are on the ground and first floor.
We journey to Newtonmore, within the Cairngorm National Park, for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Highlander Hotel.
We travel via the famous Loch Ness and onto Drumnadrochit, continuing via Beauly to Inverness. We have free time before returning to Newtonmore.
Today takes us via the Speyside Heather Centre, Carrbridge and Aviemore.
Travel to Grantown-on-Spey and onto the famous Telford Bridge at Craigellachie. We return via the Bridge of Avon and Tomintoul.
We depart for home, arriving early evening.
