The 3 star Royal & Fortescue Hotel is a former coaching inn right in the centre of Barnstaple, combining old world character and charm with the convenience of a modern hotel. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, hairdryer, tea making facitities and WiFi. There is a lift and a number of ground floor rooms.
We travel via the main roads and motorways to Barnstaple for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Royal and Fortescue Hotel.
A coastal day as we visit the famous seaside resorts of Ilfracombe and Woolacombe.
Our first visit today is to the stunning RHS Garden Rosemoor, an enchanting garden nestled in the beautiful Torridge Valley. Our return route takes us via Bideford.
A free day in Barnstaple, where you might like to visit the famous Pannier Market, which on Wednesdays has both a general and an antiques and collectables market.
We journey home with suitable stops en route. Arriving into the local area early evening.
